Visual identity and digital platform for a European innovation project driving the digital transformation of viticulture.
The Public University of Navarre (UPNA) partnered with SCINERGICS to develop the visual identity and website for VINNEA, a European project funded by the INTERREG VI-A Spain–France–Andorra (POCTEFA 2021–2027) programme. The project aims to accelerate the digital transformation of viticulture through advanced technologies that support education, research, and decision-making.
Our work included the creation of the VINNEA project logo and the development of a visual identity that reflects the innovative, technological and collaborative nature of this cross-border initiative.
At the heart of the project was the design and development of the official website (vinnea-poctefa.eu), conceived as a scientific communication and dissemination platform presenting the project's objectives, work packages, consortium, pilot actions, news, and results in a clear and engaging way.
The website architecture and visual design were created to communicate a multidisciplinary research project combining artificial intelligence, virtual reality, predictive models and mobile applications for viticulture, making complex scientific and technological concepts accessible to researchers, professionals, institutions and the wider public.
One of the main challenges was translating the technical complexity of a European R&D project into an intuitive digital experience while meeting the communication and visibility requirements established by European funding programmes.
This project illustrates how scientific communication, strategic branding and user-centred web development can enhance the visibility, dissemination and long-term impact of European research and innovation projects.
